Day 63: 3-Minute Poem

America

A racist country

Walls resurrected

Around and between

Us

Privilege hoarded

Resources hogged

But

We hope

hold dreams

that young Dreamers

came here for

The opportunity, diversity

my sisters and me

Here too

We will not be

Silent

We will not withdraw

Secede, leave

We breathe

This is our country, too.
